ODIN Client & Miscellaneous Apps Installation

ODIN Client

  • Copy P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN\OdinSetup-1671-xpBuild-x32.exe to local Downloads folder
  • Run OdinSetup-1671-xpBuild-x32.exe accepting all defaults
  • Copy P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN\Current ODIN Exe\Odin.exe to C:\Program Files (x86)\ODIN\ overwriting existing file
  • Copy P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN\SE_Viewer_ENGLISH_ST9.exe to local Downloads folder
  • Run SE_Viewer_ENGLISH_ST9.exe accepting all defaults.
  • Copy entire folder P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN\LicenseUpdate\ to local Downloads folder
  • Run setup.exe from this folder accepting all defaults.
  • Set a default printer before opening. Otherwise it will cause an error.

ODIN Expansion

  • ODIN Client must already be installed
  • Copy entire folder P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN\ODIN Expansion to local Downloads folder
  • Copy entire folder from local Downloads folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\ODIN\
  • Copy ‘ODIN Expansion.exe’ and paste a shortcut to the Desktop
  • Right-click the new shortcut > Properties > Change Icon > Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\ODIN and select Odin.exe > OK > OK

ODIN CNC Router Control

  • Copy P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN Router Control\ODINCNCRouterControlSetupv1.8.11.exe to local Downloads folder
  • Run ODINCNCRouterControlSetupv1.8.11.exe accepting all defaults (You may receive an error about rotext.ocx. Click OK and ignore. Rebooting is not necessary.
  • Copy P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN Router Control\OdinCNCRouterControl.exe to local Downloads folder
  • Copy OdinCNCRouterControl.exe from local Downloads folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\ODIN CNC Router Control\ overwriting the existing file
  • Upon running the application, you may receive an error about ‘Invalid port number’. Click OK and ignore as many times as necessary.

ODIN Shipping System Add-in (For shipping stations)

  • Copy entire folder P:\IT\ClientSoftware\ODIN\Shipping System\ to local Downloads folder
  • Copy entire folder from local Download folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\ODIN\
  • Copy C:\Program Files (x86)\ODIN\Shipping System\ShippingStation.exe and paste shortcut to the Desktop
