Lync Call Log Reporting
How to add/remove employees
- Remote Desktop to LYMON.
- Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Connected to LYMON\ARMON (SQL Server 10.0.2573 – HOUSINGSERVICES\Administrator)
- Drill down to LYMON/ARMON > Databases > LcsCDR > Tables > dbo.Department
- Right-click on dbo.Department and select Edit top 200 Rows
- The UserUri column is just the SIP URI (email address) of the user you are adding.
- The ‘Department’ column is the department you wish to put them in.

How to give an employee permission to view reports
- In AD, add user to ‘Lync Call reports – Browser’ group
OR
- Make sure you are in Home > CHSReports > CHS Call Detail Report – 20200413 (Look at the menu at the top of the page.)
- Click the ‘Properties’ tab.
- Click the ‘Security’ pane.
- Click ‘New Role Assignment’.
- In the ‘Group or user name’ field, enter: HOUSINGSERVICES\username
- Select ‘Browser’ (view only) at the minimum.
How to create automated email reports (subscriptions)
- Make sure you are in Home > CHSReports > CHS Call Detail Report – 20200413 (Look at the menu at the top of the page.)
- Click the ‘Subscriptions’ tab.
- Click the ‘New Subscriptions’ button.
- Type in the full email address of the person/s who will be receiving the reports in the “To:” field.
- If the recipient needs the report in an attached document format (PDF, XCL, etc.), select it from the ‘Render Format’ drop-down box.
- Choose a schedule by clicking the ‘Select Schedule’ button or create a schedule manually.
- Choose the department’s calls you wish to include in the report by clicking the ‘Department’ button.
Note: You can only have one department per report. If an employee needs to view calls for multiple departments, they will receive multiple emails. There is no way around this.

- Housing (corporate office staff)

- Region 1 (field staff)
- Region 2 (field staff)
- Region 3 (field staff)
- Region 4 (field staff)
- Amanda Wiley, Jeff Hayes, Shreeda Dixon, and Jeff Hayes receive a report for all corporate office housing staff. Each of the corporate office housing staff receives this report too.
- Each Regional Director of Housing receives a report of his or her region’s field staff. Each of the field staff also receives this report as well as Amanda Wiley, Jeff Hayes, Shreeda Dixon, and Tim Wade. These are scheduled to be sent each Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 AM.
- Rachelle Chavez receives a call report for the Collections staff. This is scheduled to be sent each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 9:00 PM.
