How to Remove iPhone from Meraki MDM/DEP

  1. Backup the device first. This requires a full reset of the device.
  2. In Meraki > Systems Manager > DEP > Select device > Remove settings
  3. In Apple DEP > Device Assignments > Enter serial number > Choose Action > Unassign Devices
  4. ?In Apple DEP > Device Assignments > Enter serial number > Choose Action > Release Devices
  5. In Meraki > Systems Manager > Devices > Select device > Delete > Remove from Network
  6. On iPhone > Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Content and Settings
