Five9 Agent and Supervisor Cannot Connect Using Firefox

It is confirmed by our Engineers that there is a bug and still awaits a code fix. However, this is the workaround that we can provide to some affected customers.

Step 1. Open the Firefox Browser.

Step 2. Go to the Address Bar and type “about:config” and then press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.

Step 3. It will bring up the “Proceed with Caution” message as you are about to change advanced Firefox configurations. Just click the “Accept the Risk and Continue” button so we can proceed with the fix to the issue.

Step 4. In the Search Box for the configuration, type “extensions.installtriggerimpl.enabled” and it will bring up the extensions.InstallTriggerImpl.enabled setting. Just set this to “true” by double-clicking it.

Step 5. Close all instances of the Firefox browser by clicking the “X” button on all Firefox windows or by right-clicking the Firefox Icon in the Taskbar and then selecting “Close all windows“.

Step 6. Re-launch your Firefox Browser and try getting into your Plus Application (e.g. Agent Desktop Plus, Supervisor Plus, Agent Desktop Toolkit Plus, etc.). It should load properly now.
